How we classify, compare, and check ideas
Solo emphasizes independent exploration, Dates shared experiences, and Group coordinated activities. Every outing has one primary collection. That is our editorial recommendation; it does not determine who the venue admits. Participant rules, booking thresholds, and capacity limits are shown separately.
Our planning detail score uses the same five field checklist for every outing. Each documented field earns one point: official source link, admission policy, booking guidance, operator time guidance, and participant limits. Otherwise, the field is marked not verified and earns no point. Published lane limits count as participant limits. Operator time guidance currently exists for Science World and Grandview Lanes; other displayed durations are editorial allowances. This is Out Here’s information coverage rubric, not an external certification, customer review, quality rating, or accessibility score. A score can be low even for a great outing.
We use official operator, university, and municipal information where accessible. Posted prices are dated observations, rather than live checkout quotes. Unknown costs never become estimates. Venue hours, access needs, rentals, special events, and seasonal changes still need confirmation for your day.
Good plans need a few clear answers
Before you
head out.
Why does an outing only appear in one collection?
Each idea has one editorial home so the collections offer distinct starting points. The same venue may welcome people coming alone, in a pair, or with a group. Our recommendation never replaces its admission rules.
Does an unknown price mean it is expensive?
No. It means we could not verify a current per person price. Even public spaces remain unknown when an explicit current fee statement was not verified. Check the official source before deciding.
Can I book through Out Here?
We help you discover and compare. Tickets, reservations, waivers, final prices, and availability are handled by the official operator. An outbound link records a click, rather than a confirmed visit or booking.
Where does my shortlist go?
Your three saved ideas stay on this device for 7 days when storage is available. No account is needed. Your proposed day, time, and copied plan text are not included in our funnel analytics events.
What does the site measure?
The live site uses Google Analytics for discovery, saves, comparison opens, plan copies, and official link clicks. Our custom events exclude your search text, proposed day and time, party size, and copied plan text. Your shortlist stays on your device; copying a plan does not send it to a venue.
What does a kid friendly tag mean?
It marks activities with checked family guidance. Read the age, supervision and ticket notes before choosing. Adult prices remain the comparison basis. A missing tag means family suitability has not been verified here.
Are these photos the exact activity?
Place photos are labelled and may show an earlier view of a venue. Stock inspiration is labelled separately. Every activity photo includes its source and licence; photos are cropped for display.
